Testing: the Rimmel lipsticks

Hi! 

This time, I chose my two Rimmel lipsticks to review for you. 

One is from the Kate Matte collection in 113 and the other one is the Moisture Renew in 700 Nude Delight. 

I have a small obsession for nude lipsticks so whenever I read about a new trend, I do some research and I go out and buy them :) I was immediately appealed to the matte finish of the red packaged lipstick, however.. I have to say... I am disappointed.

Mac Making Pretty Collection

Mac Making Pretty Collection 

I heard about this collection online via numerous makeup gurus. Unfortunately where I live in Europe, we have to wait until February for Mac to launch its makeup line Making Pretty. I have already decided I want to buy the lipstick in 3N. A bit of a weird name, but gorgeous packaging and a real nice nude colour. I heard that for some people, it washes you out a little bit and you are supposed to wear a lipliner with it to make it work. I have a number 7 lipliner designed by makeup artist Lisa Eldridge in Nude that I would use with that lipstick (twist up pen), or Mac lipliner in Subculture would also be a great alternative.  

The prices are slightly higher than the normal collection, but maybe the rose gold packaging justifies the higher cost? ;)

A lot of the Mac shops in America have already sold out, but for us, it is still waiting patiently for their collection to be launched in Mac stores... :)

New Make Up!

I bought some new make up after seeing some tutorials on YouTube by StyleSuzi and Meganheartsmakeup and DaniellaChristina (who loves lip sticks).

I bought this Mac lip stick, called "Snob", I bought a blush called "Cowgirl" I think, and a blending brush. I also bought some Elf make up as it is SUPER cheap (3 dollars for the eye kit and the blush).

New Handbag

I went shopping the other day and bought this on sale at Aldo from I think 55 dollars to about 29 dollars!

I'm happy with the color, which is a light soft pink as you can see. The gold looks a bit yellowish in this light but in reality, it looks darker. 

It's quite big as I used it as a beach bag too.

I bought some more make-up which I will show you in my next post!

Beauty Diary Masks

After hearing a lot about these masks, I decided I needed to try them out myself. I got the all in one combo yellow pack which is supposed to be improve clear skin. 

Let's hope they work...

So I tried the Apple Polyphenol Mask, (picture was taken right after - i did apply some make up), which worked really good to get a clear skin, I tried out the Strawberry Yogurt mask, which was ok but turned my face a bit yellowy- orange and then I also used the White Rose Mask which gave my face a glow and a blush.
I'm really happy I bought these. They also have a nice smell.
