<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi there :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went shopping.. And this happened :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I actually need black working shoes (in which I can stand and run around the whole day), but after a couple of shopping sprees, I just can't seem to find the right pair.. So I got a bit bad and bought this lovely pair designed by Chiara Ferragni and Steve Madden. Chiara is an Italian blogger I have been following on and off for over 7 years. I looked from time to time at her Flickr account before she started her blog, and before blogging was a "thing".. I remember seeing her pictures online and thinking who is she? I don't understand :) But I liked her style and soon I got sucked into the blogging world and checked out her blogs on a regular basis. Back to the shoes: I have spotted them a while ago and I thought they looked different and had nice detailing, so when I saw them again, I tried them on and the leather is actually super soft and the heel is chunky which makes it easier to wear. I absolutely LOVE these heels for summer! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qYsmyga_n4o/U2uZdRmIf4I/AAAAAAAAAss/aQ3aCce66KM/s1600/IMG_0031.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qYsmyga_n4o/U2uZdRmIf4I/AAAAAAAAAss/aQ3aCce66KM/s1600/IMG_0031.jpg" height="640" width="314" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a picture of my first catsuit I own :) Aah I am so excited, cause I have actually never really understood this fashion trend and when I tried out a suit, it looked weird and unflattering. This one is the first one that fits like jogging but looks very smart. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Y032e_tu1k/U2uZY7uUbNI/AAAAAAAAAsc/IQAhGoDKNkY/s1600/IMG_0018.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Y032e_tu1k/U2uZY7uUbNI/AAAAAAAAAsc/IQAhGoDKNkY/s1600/IMG_0018.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have always loved a touch of hippie boho chique style, and these shorts are the perfect touch of that. They are from H&M and feel very expensive (but they aren't :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BYbMmIaB45M/U2uZg0jGxhI/AAAAAAAAAtE/z_rNUOY_7eY/s1600/IMG_0034.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BYbMmIaB45M/U2uZg0jGxhI/AAAAAAAAAtE/z_rNUOY_7eY/s1600/IMG_0034.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last but not least: my little forever21 treasures :) I have been looking for bows for about 3 months and finally I saw them in store. I went a bit bow crazy and bought a black and pink big bow and smaller white and black bows.. The small ones aren't very easy to use because they don't have a good grip on the hair. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tFs2y1JP1Ic/U2ua1TY1grI/AAAAAAAAAtQ/HK4KzBnrE70/s1600/IMG_0023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tFs2y1JP1Ic/U2ua1TY1grI/AAAAAAAAAtQ/HK4KzBnrE70/s1600/IMG_0023.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first two t shirts and this one are all from Forever21 as well and fit very nicely. I actually tried on a tee at COS and fell almost from my chair in the fitting room when I saw the price: 45 euros for a stupid tee without anything on it!! What?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Luckily I saw these ones that are a lot nicer and a crap of a lot cheaper!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you liked my little treasures of May. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lots of Love </div>

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NFvrG3NNsuQ/U01m7KSwRKI/AAAAAAAAAqw/v9h7EpLNU4o/s1600/DSCF0076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NFvrG3NNsuQ/U01m7KSwRKI/AAAAAAAAAqw/v9h7EpLNU4o/s1600/DSCF0076.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Full Exposure palette from Smashbox falls in the same range as the Urban Decay naked 1, 2 and 3 palettes: you have a lot of neutrals for a reasonable price. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was hesitating between getting the Naked 3 or the Full Exposure palette, and because I am suuuuper happy with the pigmentation and colours of my Fade Out Smashbox palette (I did a previous blogpost on it), I decided to go for the Smashbox one. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To be honest, I love my Naked 1 palette, but I rarely use the Naked 2.. Just too much shimmer and the colours are too cold for me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9lGv1SZX3uU/U01n01_hqgI/AAAAAAAAArA/CYmYMi51iX0/s1600/DSCF0064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9lGv1SZX3uU/U01n01_hqgI/AAAAAAAAArA/CYmYMi51iX0/s1600/DSCF0064.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bv6MtvY0dTA/U01ny_lfEvI/AAAAAAAAAq4/krtJmCsde54/s1600/DSCF0070.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bv6MtvY0dTA/U01ny_lfEvI/AAAAAAAAAq4/krtJmCsde54/s1600/DSCF0070.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TNWdO_AUoiE/U01n1WBaOtI/AAAAAAAAArE/8BcUvzr0h1g/s1600/DSCF0075.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TNWdO_AUoiE/U01n1WBaOtI/AAAAAAAAArE/8BcUvzr0h1g/s1600/DSCF0075.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The amazing thing about this palette is that the colours are matched: one matte goes with the shimmer on top. I love this idea and for some reason, this palette inspires me to do a lot of versatile looks.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The left side of the palette are more warm toned browns and the middle shadows are very nice buttery beige / ivory sheen and matte colours. On the right side, you find rather cool toned taupish/beige/brown colours and a matte black and a black/navy/grey shimmer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DZBQrGAtJCM/U01o3RGKf9I/AAAAAAAAArk/Jx331ZuiCTs/s1600/DSCF0072.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DZBQrGAtJCM/U01o3RGKf9I/AAAAAAAAArk/Jx331ZuiCTs/s1600/DSCF0072.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RhvbcPGT8ns/U01o2nyOsII/AAAAAAAAArc/9JEP2dvFkPU/s1600/DSCF0073.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RhvbcPGT8ns/U01o2nyOsII/AAAAAAAAArc/9JEP2dvFkPU/s1600/DSCF0073.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The brush is double sided, one tapered fluffy brush for matte shades, and the other for shimmers, white for the light shimmers, dark for the dark shimmers. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To be honest, this brush does not even come close to the other one I received in the Fade Out palette.. I am super disappointed in the quality of this brush and I don't use it for that reason..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PfhqaKnYCK0/U01o922HvJI/AAAAAAAAArw/0AC1hsR3CTA/s1600/DSCF0080.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PfhqaKnYCK0/U01o922HvJI/AAAAAAAAArw/0AC1hsR3CTA/s1600/DSCF0080.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DkvjdhyOq74/U01o1MPmeXI/AAAAAAAAArU/nxFYedkWiDs/s1600/DSCF0078.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DkvjdhyOq74/U01o1MPmeXI/AAAAAAAAArU/nxFYedkWiDs/s1600/DSCF0078.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p3Eorphtt3U/U01o8BxVdKI/AAAAAAAAArs/rIK-y1mhp-k/s1600/IMG_0008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p3Eorphtt3U/U01o8BxVdKI/AAAAAAAAArs/rIK-y1mhp-k/s1600/IMG_0008.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My favo colours are the two lightest in the middle, the matte one to finish off the look and to put under the brow, and the two matte shades to the left (the warmer colours). They become very warm toned once blended on the skin. I like adding the sparkle shadows as a finishing touch. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Pro</i>:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-matte and matching shimmers</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-cool and warm tones</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-decent quality </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-matte good pay off </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-shimmers to be applied with fingers</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-inspiring</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-not too pricey</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Cons</i>: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-you have to work with the eye shadows in the beginning</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-shimmers not as pigmented as in the pan (but once applied with finger ok) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-brush is poor quality </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-chunky packaging</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have to say that I have read a lot of reviews on this palette, and a lot of reviewers either hate it or love it. Some say you have to "scrape" off the first layer so you can get the pay off you want. I find that by using the brush it comes with all the pigmentation just disappears and you are left with ugly specks of glitter everywhere on your face.. But by using your finger for the shimmer eye shadows, I find that you do get a nice pay off. I still prefer my Fade Out purples palette though.. :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is one of my favourite looks ever. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glowy skin and an orange undertone red lip.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The secret to looking great and fresh, especially for all you bright eyed ladies out there, is finding the right red lip, a lot of bronzer, and LOADS of highlighter ;) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know everyone always says you can't exaggerate with makeup, but this time, we can definitely make an exception :) </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-v16ZtmXtJ70/U0w74vaWLuI/AAAAAAAAAqQ/HFQ1yrZcOjc/s1600/DSCF0027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-v16ZtmXtJ70/U0w74vaWLuI/AAAAAAAAAqQ/HFQ1yrZcOjc/s1600/DSCF0027.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided to combine a fresh looking mauve/lilac eye with Lady Danger from Mac, which has a matte finish and stays put all day (even after eating!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am loving the Define-A-Lash at the moment from Maybeline, which you can build up endlessly without getting clumpy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HrYlU2Lrk5w/U0w747k5LtI/AAAAAAAAAqU/OD2zCsHbgl0/s1600/DSCF0045.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HrYlU2Lrk5w/U0w747k5LtI/AAAAAAAAAqU/OD2zCsHbgl0/s1600/DSCF0045.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used Bobbi Brown eyeshadow and sparkle eyeshadow to create this look and finished it off with a combination of Mac Nude on beach/board bronzer and Hoola by Benefit to contour my face.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In the video I explain how to contour your face without it looking weird, patchy or too obvious.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I completed the look with my all time favorite highlighter in What's up by Benefit and Dior Amber Diamond on my Laura Mercier Fan Brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think this will be my go to look for summer :) </div>

Hi there :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I quick link to my newest video where I show you everything I got when I was in New York on a city trip. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have to say though: everything (except for the jeans I believe) was on sale, AND I really put aside money because I knew I was going to shop, so that is why I let myself go a little bit :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am planning to do another blogpost on what I bought from Mac cosmetics, where I will review the products I bought together with some swatches. </div>

Ok so, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Where to begin?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted to write this blogpost since a couple of weeks now, because I feel like I must not be the only one with this issue: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hairdressers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sigh. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't understand most of them... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, for those of you who are new on my blog I'll give a quick recap: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am a natural ashy blond, got sick of my bleh color and decided a couple of years ago I wanted to dye it, so I did and I went to a salon to get my hair dyed. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I asked for a Mary kate Olsen colour which is something like this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cdOFgPoCcNo/UwZRHw9wsNI/AAAAAAAAApM/4VNlU-J16Kk/s1600/Mary-Kate-Olsen.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cdOFgPoCcNo/UwZRHw9wsNI/AAAAAAAAApM/4VNlU-J16Kk/s1600/Mary-Kate-Olsen.jpg" height="378" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(the one on the middle) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let's say a Venetian blond. I got weird purple/brown. Yuk. That was the start of my mess, because it had purple/red pigments in it, up til a year or so ago I always had to deal with this weird red shine in my hair - this has been confirmed by professionals: red is the hardest to get rid off. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So scroll forward in time: After a couple tries, I discovered this awesome girl at Tony & Guy who did both my friend and me, and we looked - well the hair :D - reaaaally awesome, exactly what we wanted. The celeb style blond a la Jeniffer Aniston/ Jeniffer Lopez / Sarah Jessica Parker. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I moved, so I was obliged to go to a different hairdresser, so I went with Aveda in New York. Good lord... That was some story: I had to pay +200 dollars (the plus stands for the extra 20 ish percent tip, if not more) for a hair color that was just completely messed up.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I asked for this:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
(I cant find the exact picture, but it basically came down to this:)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4OcT75HkiXU/UwZSfr_qaXI/AAAAAAAAApY/ENwo7BbQ2ZI/s1600/tomford-campaign.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4OcT75HkiXU/UwZSfr_qaXI/AAAAAAAAApY/ENwo7BbQ2ZI/s1600/tomford-campaign.jpg" height="570" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So again, a warm toned blond with some venetian blond in it and some highlights but very soft. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She was very nice, but I felt like we didn't see the same color. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I came from a mix of 6 and 7 (which means dark to medium blond) and she told me the only way we could achieve this look is by placing highlights. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I remember she colored my hair even darker than it was before (even though I wanted to go lighter) and I told her I didn't want stripy highlights, I wanted a kind of ombre "avant la lettre". I explained her I like it when the highlights don't mark of from the roots, but they gradually blend in by getting lighter when reaching the ends of my hair. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess that part wasn't really clear, because when I left the salon and asked my lovely roommate, she said: your hair looks like a cheap x@xx hair (no offence) and it looks greasy (you know when the highlights are just so damn obvi that it looks like your hair hasn't been washed for eva?) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, I called her, because I am believe it or not, quite shy, so I got my courage together and asked to see her the next day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I pushed to get everything redone from start to finish, and after a quick chat, she was ok with that. She did say the only way to fix her mistake was to completely bleach my hair.. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh lord. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This part I hate the most: having to damage your hair because they did a shitty job. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, long story short, it wasn't completely like I wanted it, but it was very very beautifully done. I loved it. She ended up doing a great job. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So fast forward to now: after all these nightmare stories of hairdressers, I decided I'd color my hair myself, which really worked out well, until a couple of weeks ago, where I decided I am fed up with the ombre hair style and I wanted to go lighter all over my hair. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided to go to a hair salon of Filippo Beretta and I asked for a woman from which I had seen a lot of very nice hair styles on facebook.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She was kind of nice and did an ok job, however... when I asked her about going lighter (I was around a light 7 to 8) and to get this look: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t39DkcE_-do/UwZULc5S-HI/AAAAAAAAApk/3f0vo6mEVsM/s1600/sarahjesparker.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t39DkcE_-do/UwZULc5S-HI/AAAAAAAAApk/3f0vo6mEVsM/s1600/sarahjesparker.jpg" height="640" width="458" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok ok, I think I always like the same look - so should be easy right? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But no. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She said: "Impossible" without going into it, and again, you guessed it: the "only if we place some highlights will you get there eventually" preach. (a hairdresser from Aveda - not New York, once refused to color my hair unless we dye it dark grey and then I'd have to pay again to get highlights in the dark grey.. ammm... after 20 min of back and forth discussing why the hell I would pay money to go grey, I just decided to leave the salon - he called me and my friend some names too, he was super rude)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I went for it, and she actually just put a 6-7 on my hair and toned down the ends. Ok, I was kind of happy, but the color was no where near this picture. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, so, let's go back after a couple of weeks, right? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
now THIS is where the hair fiasco begins:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She dyed my hair in a 4!!!!!! a 4!!!! When I asked to go lighter/...... Like, wait what? Then she put in some highlights WITH THE BLUE POWDER (I have that one at home and that is for very good healthy hair MAYBE, not for my damaged thin hair!!) So I flipped when I saw the white strands all eaten up by the bleach, asked her about that, and she reassured me. Ok.. She then started washing my hair like a crazy person (I got about 4 to 5 washes) because she panicked that the color was waaaay too dark,(the base color she put on right before placing the highlights) and she also took a break to vomit in the toilet, which was just one step away Iew. (she was not pregnant) She came back, I smelled the vomit air, and she continued to wash my hair. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All in all a terrifying and horrible experience for over 130 euros. And for what? To have black roots, with green highlights - I was afraid of the redness and brassiness, so she cancelled out the golden tones too hard which made it go green. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And she demanded me to pay. I had a discussion about it, but she wouldn't let go, I called the manager of Filippo Beretta, but didn't change anything. I had lost my money and got super damaged black hair with green strands for in return. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Guys, never go to Filipo Beretta, please. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, then I decided to go to Tony and Guy again, what could possibly go wrong, right? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He put in loads of highlights to get rid of that black hair, but I just need to wait. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Because of the difference in color, I didn't like the stripey look and was a little bit sad again. He however, already did a way better job at it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The secret is, you just had to put a color over the highlighted hair (which he said he didn't want to do to not get super expensive), so everything blends in perfectly.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is what I have done today at home and I absolutely LOVE my hair. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I put a mix of 8.0 and 8.1 + 7G hazelnut with a 10 developer and left it for about 5 to 10 min. I made sure NOT to touch my roots, because experience has shown me that they might turn orange haha, I added water and started to massage the product into the highlights. For the remaining 2 minutes, I combed the product down, so my highlights would get a similar warm toned color. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Voila, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
fixed the hair, couldn't be happier, but lost a lot of money. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope I helped you guys out with this, and if you would have some questions, please leave them down below so I can go into detail. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for reading you guys </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lots of love, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my absolute favorite eye shadow palette since a couple of months now. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is called "Fade Out" and it is a product made by SMASHBOX.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MK3_nXggT8Q/UvEQ-caIH-I/AAAAAAAAAo8/L64lBxcQni8/s1600/DSCF4103.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MK3_nXggT8Q/UvEQ-caIH-I/AAAAAAAAAo8/L64lBxcQni8/s1600/DSCF4103.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
See how beaten up this product looks like? haha, proof that I use it all the time. You can choose not to believe me, but I really spent about ten minutes trying to clean the surface and it just wouldn't come off, so sorry about that you guys.. But makeup reviews are only good when they are real, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PSKTThhCFfU/UvEQoDy1wyI/AAAAAAAAAoQ/VWdr4ZLxQa4/s1600/DSCF4094.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PSKTThhCFfU/UvEQoDy1wyI/AAAAAAAAAoQ/VWdr4ZLxQa4/s1600/DSCF4094.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought this a while back when I went to Paris and went to visit Sephora on Champs Elysees. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I might have made a blogpost about that trip or mentioned it in one of my videos over on my YouTube channel (http:www.youtube.com/awomansaffair). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am not super wild about purple colors, but I was drawn by this palette for several reasons: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
the packaging is super sleek and compact, easy to take on a trip or put in your purse</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the combination of matte and shimmer eye shadows</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On top of that, I am a sucker for dark eyeshadows with golden flakes (see the last color on the right side) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I couldn't swatch the colors in store because the palette just came out, and I am not sure whether it was a limited edition or just an addition to their permanent collection, but I was just instantly sold and I can say with a 100 % confidence that it is the best eyeshadow palette I own. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The color ranges from: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I9LrS7hZM8Q/UvEQ9Hfv_tI/AAAAAAAAAo0/hKBDRvyVs2s/s1600/DSCF4099.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I9LrS7hZM8Q/UvEQ9Hfv_tI/AAAAAAAAAo0/hKBDRvyVs2s/s1600/DSCF4099.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A pale pink with a slight shimmer to it (left) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
a white silver with more shimmer </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A beautiful taupe matte </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A violet purple eyeshadow with light purple reflects</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
An aubergine/purple/brown color with shimmer</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A deep purple matte </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My absolute favorite: a very dark purple/navy blue with light to medium purple reflects </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
WAW-Y!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The swatches above do not do the eyeshadows justice. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They become real butter once applied to the eyelids. No primer needed to make them work. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do I need to say more?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
:)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They came out with a similar palette but with browns and nudes. The only reason I didn't buy that one is because I already own so many nudes and browns. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--7tWFSJsaKc/UvEQ9gFZ43I/AAAAAAAAAo4/dH741zklFj4/s1600/DSCF4105.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--7tWFSJsaKc/UvEQ9gFZ43I/AAAAAAAAAo4/dH741zklFj4/s1600/DSCF4105.JPG" height="640" width="364" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My fingers may look fugly, but this is the proof: one swipe in the eyeshadow and this is the result! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This palette came with a beautiful little compact blending brush that is probably the best blending brush I own... Crazy huh? Normally brands have a tendency to give a crappy brush for free, and to be honest, I don't really understand why they would do that: people will probably be more interested to spend their money on a palette than a brush, so why not take advantage from that public to promote your awesome brushes? Well, that is what Smashbox did. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And I love it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you have any further questions, please leave me a comment below and I will answer you! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lots of love </div>

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lEEhHfWxps8/UtBsshCzFeI/AAAAAAAAAn8/8RFHIJHMiX8/s1600/IMG_0036.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lEEhHfWxps8/UtBsshCzFeI/AAAAAAAAAn8/8RFHIJHMiX8/s1600/IMG_0036.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My promised hair pictures <3</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WO6mPmcCftA/UtBsp4ak1KI/AAAAAAAAAnw/MK7Dzj4q1dg/s1600/IMG_0061.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WO6mPmcCftA/UtBsp4ak1KI/AAAAAAAAAnw/MK7Dzj4q1dg/s1600/IMG_0061.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started dyeing my hair in 2010 and continued coloring it ever since, apart from 2 times where I decided to go to a hairdresser because I was bored of my color, and wanted something new.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Those two times, I've been the most disappointed I have been in these last 4 years. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will tell you a bit about it now, and then I will explain to you step by step what technique you could use to avoid having to spend money while you can do the exact same (or better) at home. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To start, I would like to admit that there are really awesome hairdressers out there, but to find them is a real quest and it is very rare you will bump into one that does exactly what you asked for, and even more. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I once had the pleasure to work with someone called Sandrine who worked at Tony & Guy, and she was the best colorist I have ever met. I wanted J Lo meets Jen Aniston hair with a lighter color at the end of my hair points, something I had naturally, but I wanted to exaggerate that look. Maybe a little bit of a semi ombre "avant la lettre".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I showed her some pictures, and to me, it is even more important to stress what you <i><u>don't</u></i> want. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went with my best friend, and, even though we were both kind of demanding customers (I want this this not that definitely not that, and I do not want to walk out of here with a bill exceeding 200 dollars kind of customer) we really got a great customer service.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We both got about 10 minutes to talk to her, and she was super lovely, she explained the process, she spoke about the color range, showed us several hair samples, explained how we could reach that hair color, you know, something where you normally hear:<br />
<br />
"<i>that is not possible miss, your hair is too dark for that, the only way to go blond is to put in highlights, and this way you will come back every 2 to 4 weeks and after a while you will get blond</i>".<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Read more:<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess a lot of people have heard that it is just not possible.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To make a long story short: we both got exactly what we wanted. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A beautiful color range where at least 3 to 4 colors were integrated in our hair, without damaging it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And about the bill? She let us know there was a student discount, so we both paid about 70 euros each.<br />
<br />
These were pictures taken not long after. Please do take into account that these pictures were shot on my macbook, so not the best quality.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gwo06lmwc-w/UtAyu2ZiqPI/AAAAAAAAAmM/wuKLwdHQQVg/s1600/Foto+op+22-10-2010+om+11.33+%235.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gwo06lmwc-w/UtAyu2ZiqPI/AAAAAAAAAmM/wuKLwdHQQVg/s1600/Foto+op+22-10-2010+om+11.33+%235.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Waw! (I like my hair color the best in this picture just above.. but I have no clue how to get that hair color back :)<br />
<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YbDDljat6EE/UtAz3mkuSEI/AAAAAAAAAmY/Sbg8ISbWUn8/s1600/Foto+op+26-01-2011+om+20.47+%233.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YbDDljat6EE/UtAz3mkuSEI/AAAAAAAAAmY/Sbg8ISbWUn8/s1600/Foto+op+26-01-2011+om+20.47+%233.jpg" height="640" width="630" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have always been in the blond/chocolate brown category and always experimented with colors ranging from a 6 to an 8. (if you are new to this subject: the higher up you go, the lighter the hair color, the lower you go the darker so a 6 would be a dark blond or even brown and a 7 would be a medium blond). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I color my hair myself, I always just color the roots, because I find that, once the color wears of in the natural light of the sun and because of the washing, it looks way more natural and you get that really natural feel to your hair: not overly damaged yet several gradations of blond.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, over to the real deal: I've been experimenting with how to put in highlights as natural as possible.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At first, I tried buying a very high blond color range, nr. 12 and tried applying it to specific strands of hair with a 20 or 30 developer. That didn't really work seeing I color my hair, so it won't be as good as when you color it on natural hair.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The difference was almost unnoticeable, so I tried looking for an alternative.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After a lot of reading, I decided to go for blue bleach powder (iekieeee sounds so scary) and a volume 20 developer. You add one scoop of the powder, and two scoops of the developer, put it on strands you pick out (I held numerous of my pinterest hair pictures (see pinterest: awomansaffair) in front of me to get the strands right), and leave it there for as long as you want but not longer than 40 min. I decided to put plastic foil over it to get some extra heat, and let it sit for about 20 min: mistake.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Why?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Because I already had lighter end (naturally and thanks to the L'oreal Preference ombre kit) so it did lighten my ends a bit but it definitely damaged them more than it did lightening them. Plus, I wanted natural highlights in my hair going some from high up but mostly from mid to end to join those whiter hair ends. However, I did not want to get all of the color pigment out on my hair, so ended up with very orange and yellow highlights.. :/</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
How to solve this? Tone your hair! :) So I bought any kind of hair color you would like (or you could also get a toner, from for example Wella) and I picked a developer 10.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I put the hair color I mixed with my developer 10 (1:1) and I let it sit for about 10 minutes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Voila! First step in the good direction.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
NOW:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ce0T1Qgjhxs/UtBset6AAfI/AAAAAAAAAnM/HlKBPpwfUTY/s1600/IMG_0045.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ce0T1Qgjhxs/UtBset6AAfI/AAAAAAAAAnM/HlKBPpwfUTY/s1600/IMG_0045.jpg" height="640" width="442" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CY2ep2_CHzU/UtBsdr0-6jI/AAAAAAAAAm8/qswvNFt5Tro/s1600/IMG_0043.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CY2ep2_CHzU/UtBsdr0-6jI/AAAAAAAAAm8/qswvNFt5Tro/s1600/IMG_0043.jpg" height="640" width="310" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
for you girls (or guys) that want the exact same as me, so a little bit of highlights but very natural and NOT damaging, this is what you should do:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(so learning from my mistakes, I will share with you what I should have done before bleaching some strands way to harsh, and using the L'oreal Preference Ombre kit (which leaves your hair feeling like straw) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FtDEWw_HTmg/UtBshp9OxkI/AAAAAAAAAnU/JMqTGLqdG9w/s1600/IMG_0058.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FtDEWw_HTmg/UtBshp9OxkI/AAAAAAAAAnU/JMqTGLqdG9w/s1600/IMG_0058.jpg" height="564" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DQlZzgehjqk/UtBsUbYTWZI/AAAAAAAAAm0/B1gM-s50Z1U/s1600/IMG_0031.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DQlZzgehjqk/UtBsUbYTWZI/AAAAAAAAAm0/B1gM-s50Z1U/s1600/IMG_0031.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. Choose a root color of your choice (mine is a 7 sometimes an 8 and I like to add some non neutral color to that) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. Depending on your hair, choose a developer (this will help the color "develop" once you apply it on your hair) Usually a 20 is the best option, cause a 10 could leave your hair very dark and a 30 could leave it looking orange</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. pick random strands (I divide: one horizontal layer I do not want to highlight, one that I do and then I go in between with my comb end to divide the hair further up) I stay away from my top layers (so no highlights when you part you hair in the middle, always leave those top layers un highlighted) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
4. apply 1 scoop of powder and 2 scoops of developer 10 (NOT 20, that will be way to harsh and damages your hair) for about 2 to 10 minutes (no longer). Apply it with a brush or with your fingers (wearing gloves). I like using a pallet that I place underneath the strand.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
5. rinse your hair with purple shampoo</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
6. mix your desires hair color with a developer 10 (1:1) and put it over the strands you highlighted. You can be generous (and a bit messy with this) leave it on for no more than 10 minutes (I left mine on for about 5 minutes) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
7. wash your hair </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
8. apply deep conditioning mask </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
9. do not use any heat to the colored hair after your wash </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
10. Voila! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UzEBB8MHqy4/UsxC155DJVI/AAAAAAAAAl0/a1bw-brZ0TU/s1600/IMG_0007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UzEBB8MHqy4/UsxC155DJVI/AAAAAAAAAl0/a1bw-brZ0TU/s1600/IMG_0007.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hey! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy 2014! Yay :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope everyone started it out great. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went shopping this weekend and was trying to find a Chanel gloss number 139 for EVER (seriously, I did I think about 15 stores and the product was just gone). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Apparently, it has been deleted out of the makeup line and will no longer be made. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Why, Chanel, why? I don't understand this. About 10 years ago I was obsessed with this blush called "tea rose" and "be pop" I think. And then, out of the blue, Chanel decided to stop producing it. Why? I have no clue. So many people got upset over that and now, the only perfect color range in their glossy lippies is again cancelled! Agr. So frustrating. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you know what color I am talking about and you have it at home, you are one lucky person, if not, just forget about my rant here or go get this (much cheaper, but not so cheap) gloss by Mac. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is called Rag To Riches and it is this reaaaaally pretty pinkish glittery gloss. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Plus sides: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mQa8Ba0LNT4/UsxCz2z2rKI/AAAAAAAAAls/SzwAnzszx-c/s1600/IMG_0015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mQa8Ba0LNT4/UsxCz2z2rKI/AAAAAAAAAls/SzwAnzszx-c/s1600/IMG_0015.JPG" height="396" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A beautiful color </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
A substitute (kind of) for Chanel 139</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It has glitters</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
Did I mention I had glitters? </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
I love glitters</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It is pink</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It is "affordable" (considering a Dior or Chanel gloss) -you pay about 20 euros for it</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
Baby Sparks would also be a good alternative, but they didn't have that color in the Mac store</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KZM2vmk0tuE/UsxC2fS8-FI/AAAAAAAAAl4/2f3TLUrpexE/s1600/IMG_0020.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KZM2vmk0tuE/UsxC2fS8-FI/AAAAAAAAAl4/2f3TLUrpexE/s1600/IMG_0020.jpg" height="640" width="470" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
Down sides: it is rather sticky </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It wears off after an hour (but don't all glosses do?) </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It is rather expensive (I know it is also affordable, but it all depends on what your take is on that)</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
It is not the Chanel 139 :D</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
I think this is the first dazzle glass I bought from Mac to be honest.. I have some other lip glosses, but never a sparkly one like this. </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
The only other sparkly one is from Bobbi Brown and is also a favorite of mine.. I would have to say that the Bobbi Brown one is less sticky, .. but then again more expensive and a less big color range. </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
Just saying :) </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
Lots of love and happiness!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mwQ0KOikLrg/UsXpY2XLRjI/AAAAAAAAAlc/72pzay0Djbo/s1600/IMG_2493.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mwQ0KOikLrg/UsXpY2XLRjI/AAAAAAAAAlc/72pzay0Djbo/s640/IMG_2493.jpg" width="386" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy New Year! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope everyone has had a great time celebrating going from the old in to the new year and I hope you all have food babies just like me haha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I chose this picture to go with my title "A fresh start" because I feel like a new year, as cheesy as it sounds, is a perfect way to start all over. At least, if you feel like some parts of 2013 could have been different:<br />
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
that one too many jeans you bought, or that lipstick you already have but forgotten about, or to finally get your courage together and ask out that boy or girl, or go out more, go out less, have more fun, focus more on work, do more sports, eat healthier, go live your dream, and I could continue to name things that also run through my head when I think about 2014. Let's change some things: let's go run after those dreams with a clean canvas. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have to admit that, in this case, I might not completely practice what I preach.. I have had a rather rough start with some unforeseen difficulties making the new year a bit less exciting as I hoped it would. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But I do want to change certain things, and that is, if you are unhappy about something, try changing it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also want to map out a schedule making sure I will post more regularly over on my blog, do more videos, pin more stuff on pinterest (just kiddin, I am already going at that like a maniac haha), but you get the idea. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really have so many thoughts I want to work out and post and share with you, and I just sometimes can't find the time for it.. This needs to change. So tomorrow, I will run into the city and get an agenda. A real old school one, one that I can carry everywhere I go. Not one on my phone. I tend to skip whenever I see stuff written on there, in between text messages, emails, and pinterest (here we go again)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I talked enough for now. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am keeping my promise to show you an updated hair picture, but I still need to fix some highlights which I did not want to touch last time, a question of not wanting to burry my hair with 2013 haha I still want to have it for the new year! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Til very soon :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YerDUjptwhI/Ur8dF32jXAI/AAAAAAAAAlI/dUMWOQnu7fM/s1600/$T2eC16ZHJIYE9qUcOtyfBQTfFzl7vQ~~60_35.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="456" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YerDUjptwhI/Ur8dF32jXAI/AAAAAAAAAlI/dUMWOQnu7fM/s640/$T2eC16ZHJIYE9qUcOtyfBQTfFzl7vQ~~60_35.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A month or two after my last color session, I decided I wanted something new. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've always colored it in the 7 - 8 range with a 20 developer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
About a year or so ago, I used this L'oreal Preference Ombre kit in number 3, which is the girl on the right of you (the one with the long hair and the lightest blond). This is the color I initially used, because I have natural blondish hair and my ends have always been lighter than my roots. So no need for me to go for the kit for darkest hair to begin with. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
However, before I will continue, I will quickly say that, last time I used this kit, I was SUPER happy about it: no brassy hair color, really pretty ombre effect going from a dark blond/brown to a warm toned mid blond and then lighter blond ends. I cannot exactly remember what technique I used to apply the color, but I wanted to avoid the two colored chopped hair, so I used a technique to gradually get the hair lighter, which, at the time, really worked out for me. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now comes the however part :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
However, this time.. I have to say, I wasn't so happy. In fact, I regretted my decision as soon as I came out of the shower. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First of all, I read online as well, that the texture is super runny, which makes it incredibly hard to apply if you do not want that clear separation between the blond and your natural/darker hair color. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I tried applying it straight from the bottle (which is good for your ends, but not so much if you want to create some higher up highlights), I used my plastic board to place underneath the strand I wanted to color - not a great idea either, because the liquid basically runs everywhere except on the part of the strand you want to color. I used my little brush I use normally, and that somewhat worked out, but I guess the damage was already done.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, I basically had very yellow ends (way more yellow, and not necessarily lighter than before) and super orange highlights throughout the middle which came out super patchy because of the runny liquid of the kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A friend of mine even compared it to a cheetah or other kind of animal print... Just saying: you do NOT want to have that look :D </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So it looked horrible. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today, I decided it was time to clean up that mess, and for a brief second, I actually wanted to go to the hairdresser so she/he would be able to save my hair (it wasn';t that bad, but it were just way too many not matching colors going on with that cheetah print. ugrh gross) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Instead of spending another 100 to 250 dollars - which is the price here if you want to go to a good hair salon like Aveda or Tony and Guy), I decided I had enough colors at home to make the hair work again. So that's what I did, and I kind of solved the problem :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TtMd2MzIjUw/Ur8dGBcHBhI/AAAAAAAAAlM/EFFGinSUO5I/s1600/inoa-2-brun.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TtMd2MzIjUw/Ur8dGBcHBhI/AAAAAAAAAlM/EFFGinSUO5I/s640/inoa-2-brun.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a neutral 7 with a developer 20 to cover the roots and combed the root color downwards to break that cheetah patchiness. Then, when I had finished that, I started applying small highlights, by sectioning off my hair in diagonal forms and subdividing enough so I would have very tiny - but wide - pieces of hair. (imagine working horizontally and taking a lot of hair instead of just plucking a chunky strand and working vertically) I hope that made some sense to you. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then, I started applying the 12/1 of Koleston Wella (special blonde) to make sure I toned out that brassy color of my mid hair. I applied it with a developer 30, but I bought mine from a 'white' or unknown brand, not from wella (this is because it is basically the same, just a lot less money. A developer stays a developer) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I left everything on for about another 20 minutes and started rinsing it off. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you want to make sure not to have any brassy or yellow toned hair color, just apply a P01 Luocolor from L'oreal with a developer 10 for about 7 to 10 min. I used this while I was showering, because the warm water will make the developing process go a bit quicker. I only left it on for 5 minutes and voila, no more yellow! I advise you to not go over that time, or you will end up with a very different color you initially aimed for ;) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will put up a picture of my new hair tomorrow/day after because now it is already dark so you would not be able to see the right color.</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QhAuqL7VS_8/UrhAkkDjs_I/AAAAAAAAAkc/aM8B8y3NKKs/s1600/DSCF0069.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QhAuqL7VS_8/UrhAkkDjs_I/AAAAAAAAAkc/aM8B8y3NKKs/s640/DSCF0069.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is my latest furniture: two really pretty desk lamps that I put next to the fire place, and a holder that says News for newspapers :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was on the hunt for these kind of lamps to have next to my couch but I only found really expensive ones. These are a good alternative: they still have a similar interior deco effect without being overly expensive. I think I paid about 20 dollars for them. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The news stand cost me 15 dollars. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As the theme in my house is rather "white" based, I really like to always grab similar light colors. I just get bored very easily with colors.. Sometimes, I wish I liked it, because then I could go wild and crazy with what I pick for my interior, but... It seems to stress me out more than be beautiful to the eye :D</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XKbK4vn-nKM/UrhAkOzhe0I/AAAAAAAAAkg/X3ZmZ8m2j38/s1600/DSCF0085.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XKbK4vn-nKM/UrhAkOzhe0I/AAAAAAAAAkg/X3ZmZ8m2j38/s640/DSCF0085.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They give a very decent amount of light, and in the evenings, I prefer this lighting instead of my ceiling lights, it just gives that extra cozy vibe I absolutely LOVE! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7bvIvcNnJVQ/UrhAkXGW6gI/AAAAAAAAAkk/1uLVttHI1lo/s1600/DSCF0081.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7bvIvcNnJVQ/UrhAkXGW6gI/AAAAAAAAAkk/1uLVttHI1lo/s640/DSCF0081.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here, you can see my table I transformed when I talked about 4 months ago about re inventing an old coffee table. I scratched off all the old paint and dust and started from the bottom up. I decided to paint a striped foot piece with the help of some tape and verrrryyyy pretty golden bronzed paint. I did not want to make it too messy and aggressive, so I chose not to paint the same pattern on the sides. There, I decided to go for egg white / ivory paint that is suitable for wood. And voila, my table is done :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think this is a 40 year old table btw... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On top of that is an Ikea plate, I absolutely love black and white stripes. It feels a little colonial to me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I placed a Zara home vase with some fake flowers for Christmas, and next to that I put a Zara home Christmas candle which has the same color as the flowers, and in real life, also as the paint on the table.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Behind that you will be able to see my couch. You can guess my colors are basically grey and white, with some hints of gold :) I like to make my couch extra comfy by placing a million cushions. I can then also alternate between several pillow fabrics to change up the mood in my apartment.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is a great and very affordable way to spice up your deco. Pillows can be found at Ikea for about 6 dollars, and the textile, you can even make yourself! It is really not that hard..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Merry Christmas everyone!</div>

If you are into vlogs, maybe you will like my Vlogmas video I will put up on my Youtube channel later on today.. You will have a sneak peek of what my life looks like :) </div>

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-T1Y62sYzOLY/Uq2UfVRMi9I/AAAAAAAAAkE/hXUxxnvFvCs/s1600/IMG_0032.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-T1Y62sYzOLY/Uq2UfVRMi9I/AAAAAAAAAkE/hXUxxnvFvCs/s640/IMG_0032.jpg" height="640" width="220" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought these pants in River Island, and I fell in love with how the sequin is not too much out there. Every girl loves shiny things, and that's why I just needed to have these pants in my life haha :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I paired them with Zara boots, which you can barely see on this picture.. A white tee from Topshop, my cardigan with leather sleeves from Maje and my new necklace from Zara. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today was Christmas shopping day, so we went out to the city for some good old fashioned Christmas gifts. However, once we arrived in the city, I think the whole country had the same idea.. There were queues EVERYWHERE. Nevertheless, we took it upon us to just go with the flow and buy the gifts we had in mind. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also purchased new tea and coffee, because if there is anything I can get equally excited about as make up, it has to be tea :D or fake coffee (coffee with LOADS of milk and foam Njum!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought rose tea, which I am obsessed with atm. Rose infusion tea, rose earl grey tea, you name it, I have it or have to buy it :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of tea, today is Sunday, and I am about to put the kettle on for a cup of tea with a biscuit and watch The Heat. I started watching it a couple of days ago but never got around to watch it to the end, but I laughed out loud on my own several times, which means it is a good movie! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lots of love x</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next post will be a collective haul of what I bought in Rotterdam!</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-godOWublBmk/UqB5SJ689xI/AAAAAAAAAjw/k-ZxqtI-NiI/s1600/IMG_0012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-godOWublBmk/UqB5SJ689xI/AAAAAAAAAjw/k-ZxqtI-NiI/s640/IMG_0012.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Look what I bought today! :) We went quickly for breakfast and in the shop my eye fell on this little fellow. How cute is he? It came with a set to make a hot cocoa with marshmallows, njum! I think I will make myself a cup of that now. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This morning, I already felt better (I explained this in my last video:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--V4y4E2lfeE/UqB5R8Sq2dI/AAAAAAAAAjs/XL_8E0cFPgc/s1600/IMG_0015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/S-rt3NM8ZBg?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And so, because Ikea is having a special sale on their Christmas trees (1 for 5 euros!!) we went quickly to Ikea to get our Christmas tree. There were already a lot of people in front of us... We were sure to be the first ones coming up very early to the store, but I guess we were wrong :D </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I already pulled out all my Christmas deco to decorate the tree tomorrow or on Sunday! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--V4y4E2lfeE/UqB5R8Sq2dI/AAAAAAAAAjs/XL_8E0cFPgc/s1600/IMG_0015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--V4y4E2lfeE/UqB5R8Sq2dI/AAAAAAAAAjs/XL_8E0cFPgc/s640/IMG_0015.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My colors will be red, white and golden. I love it! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, I am going to drink my hot cocoa, because a storm is coming and I just want to curl up in my blanket and rest some more. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi there! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went shopping.. and I went big hahaha. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At least, for my wallet I went big :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So first I started buying these awesome wooden heeled boots at Zara which are very similar to the Jeffrey Campbell ones but slightly more payable. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will have to pick them up from the store today so I will make a blogpost about that later in an outfit look or something. I am already COMPLETELY obsessed with those boots (yes, I have eyed them several times online ever since I bought them) so I will definitely want to share them with you guys :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nNO5XaHgkj4/Up2agWw4QiI/AAAAAAAAAhk/QO8suXsYnyk/s1600/Schermafbeelding+2013-12-03+om+09.46.39.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="552" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nNO5XaHgkj4/Up2agWw4QiI/AAAAAAAAAhk/QO8suXsYnyk/s640/Schermafbeelding+2013-12-03+om+09.46.39.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, I bought some furniture or deco stuff at Zara Home. It is my absolute favorite deco store to shop: stuff is super original, not tooo expensive, and good quality. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought a new lamp cap because mine was just random in plastic from Ikea (barf). This one is black and white striped and looks like this: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TMJlDxKXa9o/Up2YmKMUeuI/AAAAAAAAAhY/Q446pse6hFk/s1600/Schermafbeelding+2013-12-02+om+11.47.36.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TMJlDxKXa9o/Up2YmKMUeuI/AAAAAAAAAhY/Q446pse6hFk/s640/Schermafbeelding+2013-12-02+om+11.47.36.png" width="564" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really love this colonial style. Especially cause at my place, everything is basically white and grey :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And now red and green and gold as well for Christmas obviously :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also bought a couple of other things, but it seems more easy and fun to take pictures of what I bought, so I will do a little separate blogpost on that soon!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I then bought an amazing dress from Jones and Jones, which I am sure I will feature on my blog or in one of my videos, I am absolutely IN LOVE with their dresses, they look so elegant, yet girly and just so flattering! Can't wait for that to arrive! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Alrighty, if you want to see more of what I bought, just click the video or hold on to new posts that will appear as soon as I get the stuff in my mailbox! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Btw, little rant: normally I am super impressed with ASOS and their customer service. This time, not so much. I don't know if any of you tried to have that 20 % off they promoted on their website a couple of days ago ON ALL OF THEIR STUFF. Well... It was basically just not true. SOOOO many people (go look on their facebook account) were not able to profit from that code! Me included. I sent about 10 emails concerning this, and I always got a computer response, so completely ignoring what the actual issue was. At the end of the day (like 3 days later) I finally get an email from a person telling me: Ooh the action is over, so I am terribly sorry. Seeing you already made the purchase, it will be impossible for us the give you the 20 %.... So it was the choice: or you buy nothing, or you buy full price. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Maybe the code only worked on certain things... or only for the first people that bought something online. I have no clue. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think it was a nice gesture, however, if you can't live up to your promise, then just don't promote it all over your site... Right?<br />
<br />
<i>Ok, for any of you who already read this post: I just got an email that is completely different from the previous emails. They will see what they can do for the 20% off.</i><br />
<i>That is great news. I guess they are living up to the expectations I had of Asos.. Could it be my number one online shopping website? I will keep you updated on this matter... </i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for reading til the end :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Talk soon :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For 3 hours of class, you received a very tiny goody bag, with just 4 samples: a matte lipstick, their regenessence cream, a sample of the newest Si perfume, and a sample of a tinted base primer.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But first, let's talk about the class a little bit.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NIEk4DVZd18/UpdIgU5EJjI/AAAAAAAAAfw/WdFkuD0c2AM/s1600/IMG04242-20131121-1234.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NIEk4DVZd18/UpdIgU5EJjI/AAAAAAAAAfw/WdFkuD0c2AM/s640/IMG04242-20131121-1234.jpg" height="510" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BscLzNpJHE/UpdIgWHu0-I/AAAAAAAAAf0/4SfefoXNx98/s1600/IMG04240-20131121-0940.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BscLzNpJHE/UpdIgWHu0-I/AAAAAAAAAf0/4SfefoXNx98/s640/IMG04240-20131121-0940.jpg" height="516" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The course took place in the Hotel Sofitel, which is really gorgeous! We had some information about their skin care, and what it does for your skin. They explained that everyone can use it, and that you should have a morning and evening routine using the lotion, serum, eye cream, and face cream. They really only talked about the Regenessence line, not about the luminessence line.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To be honest, after putting 5 coats of product on your skin, you kind of feel that it is not soaking in anymore. A tip for that is to wait about 5 minutes and then take a tissue and clean gently off the residue before applying makeup. Even though I did that, I still felt like this might have been the reason why my makeup was kind of caky instead of flattering.. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that whole skin ritual - and I must admit, I love treating and pampering my skin, and I even think I use about 3 to 5 steps every morning and evening... There was just something about the products that made my skin feel slightly itchy. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Afterwards, we were able to choose our foundation shade - with the help of the Armani people - and I chose to use their Luminous silk foundation in the color 4,5. If you want to see me "in action", just click on this <a href="http://youtu.be/6ftjudCXK7Y" target="_blank">link</a> and see what my skin tone looks like. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really did like the color pay off a lot, it is a nice neutral tone, not too pinky nor too yellowy. So for that reason, I would say hands down for their color range. However... I can't tell if it is because of the layers of skin treatment and tinted face primer before this layer of foundation, or whether the foundation itself is just a little bit streaky and patchy and at the end caky, but I was not amazed by the quality of the liquid.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Armani workers told us that Maestro foundation is a way more liquid and less covering foundation. At the end of the class, you could see that the people who used the Maestro foundation looked a lot more natural in a way. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that, we went and applied powder nr. 4. I am not such a fan of powders in any case, because I feel it can make you at least 10 years older if you use too much, or even worse, using a different colored powder than your foundation can just ruin the whole look and make you look dirty and slightly off. Since I didn't use that much, I can't really tell if I like it. I would say it caked up with my foundation, so I am definitely not going to buy that powder. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We then moved on to the eyes: they had two limited edition holiday palettes and I used this one:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wMZjhLPs2_w/UpdL7kUqflI/AAAAAAAAAgQ/f-T3_qyMYZE/s1600/Giorgio-Armani-Fall-2013-promo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wMZjhLPs2_w/UpdL7kUqflI/AAAAAAAAAgQ/f-T3_qyMYZE/s640/Giorgio-Armani-Fall-2013-promo.jpg" height="352" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hmm.. Now that I look at the palette, I am a 100% sure they changed up the middle color for a very bright turquoise color (which no one really liked to be honest).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also used one of their Eyes to Kill eye pots, in lilac</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DJGOvC8mLh8/UpdMb6q9fQI/AAAAAAAAAgY/9Qyj7wgxhOk/s1600/eyes+to+kill.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DJGOvC8mLh8/UpdMb6q9fQI/AAAAAAAAAgY/9Qyj7wgxhOk/s640/eyes+to+kill.png" height="512" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This color here on the bottom. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I actually am not a huge fan of these bright colors, but hey, I wanted to work with what they had, and I know that the green option would not at all work for me. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I placed the eyes to kill pot first all over my moving eyelid. Then I started to work that light grey shimmery color from the palette from the middle of my eye to the outer corner. I then took the darkest color of that palette and focused only on the outer v of my eyelid. I used their caviar crayon, which I am actually a huge fan of, it feels like butter on the skin, and traced a fine line just above my lashes. I then used one of the makeup brushes (see first picture) which I found horrible: really bad quality, way too big or too small, and just ... makes putting on makeup more difficult than easy to be honest. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went back and forth with the blending and the adding of the eye pencils until I was happy about the look. I kind of faked a cat eye, because I only used that pencil and the darkest eyeshadow of the palette.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have to admit that I liked the eye look, but I wasn't really sold to buy the colors, one reason for that is that I already have a lot of eye shadows, and the other, that I find the prices to be very very expensive.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(they range from about 30 to 70 or more dollars so no cheap deals) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We then finished of the look with a mascara (I can't remember which one, but I am pretty sure they used an old mascara, from last season). That mascara goes for about 35 euros, which is something in the lines of about 45 to 50 dollars.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I mean... Do I have to elaborate on this..... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, I then applied some eyebrow pencil in ash or blond or light, which was pretty good, but still a bit too green/yellow looking once I left the building. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now that I think of it, there was no bronzer... Hmmm..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We had the option of choosing a blush color, mine was fluid sheer embelliseur</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vCejfYf7Nro/UpdO-b0ifZI/AAAAAAAAAgk/2OqT8uDk--Q/s1600/giorgioarmani+blush.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vCejfYf7Nro/UpdO-b0ifZI/AAAAAAAAAgk/2OqT8uDk--Q/s1600/giorgioarmani+blush.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I tried to look it up on the armani website, this was no longer available... Did they give us all products of last season? Why would they do that?... I already had a feeling they did this with the lipsticks, because I was soooo eager to try out the matte lipsticks. Plus, the lipstick kind of smelled like makeup gone bad. Yuk. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also used the fluid sheer, but I found it very liquid and hard to work with. It kind of resulted in making your previous layer of skincare, primer, foundation and powder very patchy. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sigh... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess for me the Armani makeup line is slightly disappointing...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To finish off the look, I used a lipstick in nr. 102 beige. It had a greasy texture and as soon as I put it on, it disappeared again.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Voila. This is my review on the class.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The people giving the class were ok, but they didn't really make us learn new things, and although I am probably trying to learn new things all the time because of my obsession haha, I asked around and the other ladies felt similar. No blending techniques, no smokey eye technique or cat eye, no individual tips on how to work with your eyes or which colors to choose from.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Basically 99% of the class chose to work with the green colored palette and all looked overly done (turquoise eyeshadow, red/pink lips, and way too much blush due to the liquid texture that is hard to work with) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So sorry if you feel offended by my honesty. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was just my experience, and to be honest, I am so glad I did not spend a dime on Armani makeup. I actually really thought it would be suuuuper good quality. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Over to the goody bag (+ the class costed about 40 dollar which we are able to spend) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BRL0DLoDKJs/UpdQgrITLkI/AAAAAAAAAgw/_gx5lvngSbA/s1600/DSCF0043.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BRL0DLoDKJs/UpdQgrITLkI/AAAAAAAAAgw/_gx5lvngSbA/s640/DSCF0043.JPG" height="470" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok ok, I have to admit, this matte lipstick is THE BOMB, so yes, there are products that I am really liking, but this was the exact lipstick I wanted to try at the session but magically wasn't there. A bummer cause I would have bought it. The texture is INSANE, dries up fast but does not dry out your lips. Doesn't smell funky, has great color pay off and seriously, look at that perfect shade of red! I absolutely LOVE blue toned reds. So this gets a 10 out of 10! Bravo! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-89AoIy-mQgM/UpdQgt44EvI/AAAAAAAAAg0/-F3_p8dSdZo/s1600/DSCF0057.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-89AoIy-mQgM/UpdQgt44EvI/AAAAAAAAAg0/-F3_p8dSdZo/s640/DSCF0057.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These are the 3 swatches: the Lip Maestro intense velvet color 400 - The face fabric second skin nude makeup with SPF 12 in nr. 4 and the Regenessence multi-corrective rejuvenating cream. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really like the lipstick, however, the cream is a little bit itchy and greasy, it won't soak into my skin and left the foundation looking patchy. The tinted nude skin makeup is a mystery to me: is it a primer? is it a tinted moisturizer? Once you apply this on your skin, you can't really see the tint, but you did smear a product on: not ideal. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uTvoJeK7LMI/UpdQhG-YcqI/AAAAAAAAAg4/nMR_KDIyKa4/s1600/DSCF0064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uTvoJeK7LMI/UpdQhG-YcqI/AAAAAAAAAg4/nMR_KDIyKa4/s640/DSCF0064.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Spritz :) This is the Si perfume. Not my favorite because I prefer more delicate smells, but if you are into a strong evening time perfume, you might like this one! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1bgslqKprK4/UpdQkYttUKI/AAAAAAAAAhI/LlFttrVARP0/s1600/DSCF0067.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1bgslqKprK4/UpdQkYttUKI/AAAAAAAAAhI/LlFttrVARP0/s640/DSCF0067.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Until next time, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lots of love :) </div>

That was my holiday in Malaysia, such a pretty country. I promised I'd do a blog post on my holiday - so with a little delay, here it is :-)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We decided to try out different hotels, so we ended up choosing around 5 or 6 in total, going from Kuala Lumpur, to Penang, to Langkawi and back to Kuala Lumpur. In all, we stayed there for about two weeks. This is a picture taken in Langkawi where we stayed at this really pretty hotel with a Jacuzzi, swimming pool and a beach front view. If you opt for beach front rooms, you will get a nice little patio for yourself with chairs where you can hang out and look at the see :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They are also specialized in making it EXTRA romantic because when it is good weather, you can sit on the beach at a table looking at this view: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The hotel is called Casa Del Mar, and is absolutely exquisite. They really make a huge effort to make the stay as comfortable as possible for the guests. You have amazing beds and a really cute bathroom that gives out to the bedroom, so you can chill while looking television from your bath. (you also have a shower with nice little soaps and scrubs). Robes, towels, beach bags, bicycles, everything you can think of is at your disposal. When you sun bath, even though they respect your privacy, they will make it a habit of coming around every hour or so to give you water, a little snack, or some fruit. If you prefer a smoothie or anything else, the bar is just steps away so you don't have to bother going back inside. The nice thing about this hotel is that it is uber hygienic, and very friendly staff, very much cared after, and that you don't feel like you are being scammed. A lot comes for free and you feel extra special :) The perfect beach holiday if you ask me. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4cPEoO-sJzc/UoNiz4n6syI/AAAAAAAAAeI/ZDoNiYDpf20/s1600/IMG_3420.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4cPEoO-sJzc/UoNiz4n6syI/AAAAAAAAAeI/ZDoNiYDpf20/s640/IMG_3420.jpg" height="640" width="468" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next hotel we went to is Temple Tree at Bon Ton. You can either opt for Bon Ton which is way more expensive (but it is still in wooden huts) or Temple tree where you sleep in plantations, which are houses that are rather big. I really liked how this integrated the whole Malaysian tradition and the food is extraordinary (especially at Bon Ton), however, you do have to bear in mind that you are on the more "nature" side of Langkawi. By that I mean that you should be prepared to welcome frogs, snakes, a lot of cats and dogs and the occasional huge cockroach... Notttt so much my favorite because I don't like these kind of scary animals very much. But the ambiance is really nice. You can get movies to watch on your television at night, and don't forget to order a lemon iced tea. Im still hooked on those even if it is just mentally. That iced tea was phenomenal. Don't be scared to try out one of their typical dishes at Bon Ton (the name escapes me but it is a little bit of everything you well get on a nice plate). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The staff was a little less friendly than the staff at Casa Del Mar, because they weren't super interested in their clientele I would say. When we told the staff there were roaches and frogs in our room they didn't really seem bothered by it.. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The breakfast is also very disappointing, even though you pay for it, you will just get some stuff (cake and toast and milk and yogurt - sometimes fruit) delivered the night before that you need to put in your fridge. That wasn't super cozy or good. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would recommend at least to go to have dinner at Bon Ton, and if you are an animal lover, you will definitely love this place. However, if you want a little bit more luxury and comfort - and no animals whatsoever, go to Casa Del Mar. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WvNYtOZskzo/UoNi0r5VmwI/AAAAAAAAAeU/K9PLLCdpPOo/s1600/IMG_3663.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WvNYtOZskzo/UoNi0r5VmwI/AAAAAAAAAeU/K9PLLCdpPOo/s640/IMG_3663.JPG" height="354" width="640" /></a></div>
How cute is this place, right? Here, we are at Penang. We went to the outer part of the city to go have a walk next to the sea and have lunch and shop a little bit at their shopping mall. If you are in the center of Penang, you might get run over by a car or motorcycle haha :) You just have to get used to that. It is a really nice town with a lot of culture to take in. Go and eat at the Kaptain, it is a marvelous restaurant in the center of Penang with excellent food. At first, it scared us a little bit because you simply cannot compare it with a restaurant you would find in the center of New York or Paris, but once you embrace the difference in culture and restaurants, I can assure you it is so worth the try. Opt for the chicken Tikka Masala, it is suuuuper good! Njum! For the malls, don't go to the ones in the center, but take the bus and go to the richer neighbourhood and go to Gurney Paragon Shopping mall, where they have Aldo, Sephora, an where you can also discover the colonial architecture of Penang. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got all excited because of our amazing holiday :) Can you tell?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am wearing my Meet Matte Nude Palette from The BALM - Canmake blush (on cheeks and lips) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
How pretty is this restaurant? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just took a picture cause I feel like this would be inspiration for my marriage :) haha </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love all the flowers and the white. It is such a cute little place. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">I am wearing a Forever21 sweater - Zara top with leather collar - Purple lipstick INGLOT </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The last stop was Kuala Lumpur. We decided to check out the aquarium which was - to be honest - waaay to packed so you couldn't see much. I would suggest to go in the mornings, there were a lot less people and you can actually see the fish :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Shopping malls, you have Stargate hill (too expensive) - Beryjaja Times Square (a little bit messy but good if you do not want to spend too much and want to go for a little bargain + if you want to have a look at the indoor amusement park!! cray cray!) - Farenheit 88 (MY FAVORITE but not super big, on the top floor you will find a super huge concept store with different brands, let the shopping begin! It has all cute stuff like my diary masks and a lot of cosmetics as well but be aware that it might be cheaper in SaSa's or Watsons, and if you are like me a sucker for those really cute asian style dresses, coats, tees and so forth, really do make the time to go see that level!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You also have Pavillion, which is the mall that leads to all the other malls basically :D that mall is pretty cool, don't forget to go to TYPO, a really super cute store with a lot of cute and fun accessories such as books, alarm clocks, bags, tea holders, phones, cases, laptop cases and so forth :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You also have a super cute Japanese shopping street inside the pavillion which is worth the visit and you can eat really good food at BEN'S. (go for the chicken with the blue rice, soooo goooood!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We also visited the Batu Caves and saw a lot of monkeys :) It is worth the visit and will take you half the day. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi there! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I am back, and I can proudly say: Oops, I did it again. :-)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went shopping at Mac for another load of makeup I probably don't even need... But it is like candy to kids, so I simply cannot resist it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I saw Mac came out with the Devine Night Holiday collection, and I was eager to go and buy that really pretty pink nude lipstick. If you read parts of my life, or watch me on Youtube, you might already know that the most fun thing for me to buy are lipsticks.. so I just add them to my collection, cause I know I will wear them a lot. (Probably almost every day) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ltEW85Rxq3U/Unv_qWZJxCI/AAAAAAAAAdI/dbtp0op_MJw/s1600/IMG_0006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ltEW85Rxq3U/Unv_qWZJxCI/AAAAAAAAAdI/dbtp0op_MJw/s640/IMG_0006.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>The color is called Flair for Finery, and it has a lustre finish (which I am not found of). I think this is probably one of my favorite nude colors so far, which I heard a lot of other people say as well, so if you are scared of those nudish eraser lipsticks, then you can go ahead and try this one out in stores, cause this is exactly not what it does :)<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is a pinkish beige nude, with a hint of lilac or purple, but really just a tiny hint, not that much :-) haha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The consistency is creamy but because it is a lustre, you have to go over your lips several times for it to cover your own pigment. Plus, it has some glitter or that 'spark' you won't find in matte lipsticks. I wore it almost every day since I purchased it, which is obviously a very good thing! I am very happy with this lipstick and I would say: if you are looking for a good nude, go for that one! Although.. I can imagine if you have a more tanned skin than mine it might wash you out a little bit.. I am not sure..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But if you want it, go, run, now! cause i am SURE this one will sell out super soon...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-slb9e6wEuz0/UnwA8CuWDiI/AAAAAAAAAdU/b1aBugkzdbc/s1600/IMG_0015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-slb9e6wEuz0/UnwA8CuWDiI/AAAAAAAAAdU/b1aBugkzdbc/s640/IMG_0015.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also got me talked into buying this brown slash purple reddish eye kohl pencil which I would normally never buy cause I am just not an eye pencil believer - I am pretty sure you can achieve the same exact result with eye shadows which usually cost less and you can multi-use them hhaha. I don't think this was even a sentence, but who cares huh? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is called RAVEN and I am such a sucker for the name. When I think of Raven, I think of this intriguing purple color.. How strange hah! I cannot figure out whether it is more brown, or purple/red. If I swatch it, it appears to be more brown even though on the eye, depending on what eyeshadow you match it with, it can really give that sultry reddish smoked out eye. However, one downside: if you don't use a primer, your eyeliner will move throughout the day :s That's a shame. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since I have light blue eyes, this color really works well for me. That together with the fluidline, which I always use as an eyeshadow anyway - what a waste otherwise! - is just amaaazing! Same goes for golden eye shadows. They really bring out your blue in your eyes and make them pop like crazy!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The last thing I bought from that collection was the DELICIOUSLY RICH fluidline. Abso-flicking-amaazing! I absolutely love this fluidline. It is nor brown nor black nor glittery nor pink red golden, just.. everything you wish your eyes look like after two hours of heavy work, but here, you just slap it on, blend the outside out and BOOM, done and done. Worth every penny :) Does not smudge, stays put all day and best of all: has NO fall out whatsoever! Hah! (even though it has soooo many glittery parts) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you like the close to reality swatches - no photoshop, no nothing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love you loads. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Video coming up soon :) </div>

It is so crazy. I have seen so many tumblrs but never really thought about having one of my own. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I now don't understand why I didn't give this a shot sooner. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am completely obsessed :D - guilty...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I registered under my name, Awomansaffair, about 4 hours ago and I kid you not: I've been on it non stop ever since.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I looked for a lot of pictures that I like, which brings me in a specific mood, or just describe or make me feel exactly the way I once have felt (or a couple of times) or feel at the moment. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Such pretty pictures, and some funny movie quotes too :) haha. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do you guys have any tumblrs? I really want to find new ones cause I can spend days and days on this! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
AAaaaah I should go to bed, but something tells me I won't be able to stop collecting photos </div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hellow :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These are three looks I wore the other week and they kept me nice and warm during fall! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really like wearing over the knee socks but it is always a struggle to find a wearable outfit without putting it "all out there" - if you know what I mean :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The two on the sides are more laid back looks that feel like wearing a jogging but outside, I love me some leggings haha. It is really our little secret of just looking ok but seriously feeling awesome: no tight jeans cutting off your circulation, no high waisted nightmares, just soft material giving you the space to breath :D </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In this look, I am wearing two necklaces: one from H&M (the one with the feathers) and one bought on a tiny market in London</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
my jacket is bought from an Australian online store and I had sooo many issues getting my clothing to my place! So many weird made up stories by that company to delay my package.. At one point I was even scared it was just a scam, and I would never see my money back again. However, after about 3 months of waiting, emailing, checking my mail, calling customer service and even boarder control, I finally got my package with the right clothes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is a long cream colored jacket with puffed up shoulders and longer in the front than in the back. I really love this jacket but the fabric is a little on the cheap side so it always wrinkles :/</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Umyn3OLyFzM/UmkK5bq1jKI/AAAAAAAAAas/0cE-Ad7jkT0/s1600/Pretty-Little-Liars-Episode-4.13-Grave-New-World-First-Look-Promotional-Photo_FULL.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Umyn3OLyFzM/UmkK5bq1jKI/AAAAAAAAAas/0cE-Ad7jkT0/s640/Pretty-Little-Liars-Episode-4.13-Grave-New-World-First-Look-Promotional-Photo_FULL.jpg" height="438" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have you seen the Halloween special of Pretty Little Liars? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have :) And I liked it, but I have to say, when comparing it to the Halloween special of last year... I preferred the one from last year over this one. Just because last year soooo many creepy and exciting things happened on that horror train :) So many answers but also so many questions were raised and at the end of the special episode, I remember everyone was left with sooo many questions. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was literally super difficult to have to wait for another couple of months for the season to be back and show us some pretty little secrets :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have not been a fan of pretty little liars from the start, but throughout the second season, I was COMPLETELY sold. I loved the series and the intrigues and I would seriously count the days to be back at the beginning of the next week to see what happened on that show. It was literally THAT good.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And still is of course. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After seeing the Halloween special, you will find out the answer to the most important question ever: Was Ally an illusion or is she in fact alive?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will not spoil this one, because I hate when I read these kind of posts to then just figure it out before even having the pleasure to watch the episode. So I will leave that one up to you guys.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For anyone that would not be familiar with Pretty Little Liars, I did a blog post on that a while ago, and to keep a long story short, it tells the mystery of a girl gone missing or dead that was being stalked and terrified by someone or a group, called "A". The girl was called Allison and had kind of a big mouth, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind - sometimes even by crossing the limit and hurting people unnecessarily. She was a real mean girl but with a soft edge, making people feel special when she chose to hang out with them. (how weird as it sounds) The typical girl you want to hate but love at the same time. The story focuses on the mystery around the disappearance of this girl via four of her be sties, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria. Both super well casted and very pretty to look at. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the way the series does not fall into the ordinary "horror" scenes where it is just made scary by adding paranormal stuff. The series really focuses on the atmosphere and the suspense of what will happen next, a creepy vibe, making it even more realistic and believable because it is not based on paranormal but on real life. (sorry to offend all of you who believe in ghosts and other scary paranormal stuff).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YXtFEiYRLu4/UmkRJ_-18_I/AAAAAAAAAa4/dTHgl6I-4a4/s1600/index.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YXtFEiYRLu4/UmkRJ_-18_I/AAAAAAAAAa4/dTHgl6I-4a4/s640/index.jpg" height="358" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is probably also the exact reason why... I was slightly disappointed in the new series, called " RAVENSWOOD", because this series does let the paranormal happen to create scary scenes and resolve questions in a maybe freaky but also obvious way which makes me not so much want to watch the second episode. In a way, it is too easy. I don't want to offend anyone, but I feel like everyone can have the imagination of adding scary girls with way too long hair and pointy fingernails, however, not everyone succeeds in making a series this interesting for so many people without having "to go there". (paranormal activities and such) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I saw the Ravenswood episode, my first reaction was OOOOOH I WANT TO SEE THIS! OOoooh Hanna is in the story line as well, Oooh Caleb is there, ooh it picks up where the Halloween series left of, and Oh my god, how clever is it to make two series that kind of tell a similar story line one based on the other, making us watch both! That is just super clever and very interesting. However... I understand they cannot make Hanna play in Ravenswood if they want to keep PLL the way it is. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also catched myself trying to figure out who would be the "hanna" or the "spencer" of Ravenswood.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But that is just human. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am a huuuuge David Lynch fan, who made some pretty awesome series such as Twin Peaks, and a lot of very intriguing films such as Mulholland Drive or Lost Highway, which kind of reminds me a bit of the PLL vibe. In D. Lynch's films or series, the blond and the brunette always play a similar role: the blond is always this pure but love to hate kind of girl, the she has it all and is super sweet and naive, and then opposite of that, you have the brunette, who is the more outrages one, the sometimes jealous one, or the one with the dark side.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I thought Ravenswood / PLL would have this kind of cast as well, but I don't think the producers did that here.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To go back to the story line... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Without spoiling the story, I was like: ok, right so people died because of a flood, so now they come back via this water y substance and they want revenge/cry for help/.. (remember the bath scene with Caleb? Or the woman disappearing in water o r the car sinking in water?) Well... that kind of made me not want to watch the second episode. It is not really super scary or makes me want to see more.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Going back to PLL, I have to say, it is probably my most favorite show on television. I just love everything about it. I think that season 3 was the absolute best of the best, topped off with that Halloween special on the train. It was just so well written, with so many difficult plots and theories. It kept everyone wondering who was A, if Ally was still alive, what the reasoning behind A is, and definitely now: What does Esra have to do in all of this???</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I once read someones theory a while back of Esra being A... I thought, hey that is pretty clever, the freaky teacher, surrounding himself with teenagers he hates or secretly has a crazy obsession for. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But who knows? Apparently, the writers of PLL have admitted him to play a part in the scary group, however... Nothing is the way it seems... Whatever we have to understand from that. Maybe Esra is just looking out for those girls.. and knows who A is... Or ... maybe after seeing the Halloween special, not. And what does CC and Ally have in common with the red coat? Do they work together or does CC uses this to distract her looks? And, where is Mona in all of this? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Aaah I love this show and I can't stand having to wait for JANUARY to see what happens next! I promise you, if you have never watched this show before, guaranteed you will fall in love with it - give it some time cause the first season is not as good as afterwards - and those producers could actually go on and on with this show, it will never get boring. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I will watch the second episode of Ravenswood after all, maybe it will take a similar PLL direction :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Talk to you soon </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7oT3OgB0cyo/UlvBwAr5ETI/AAAAAAAAAaY/cnxhnOFWWlI/s1600/lorealpreference.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7oT3OgB0cyo/UlvBwAr5ETI/AAAAAAAAAaY/cnxhnOFWWlI/s640/lorealpreference.jpg" width="374" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So... Remember my video on how to dye your hair professionally at home? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, I was actually completely against boxes. These coloring boxes are just ... not the real deal. I've always just experimented with actual color tubes you buy at some professional hair supply store where the real hairdressers go shopping. Until this weekend. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've been super uper busy lately and well, my color was just fading out a little bit too much these last days (you could really see my actual hair color coming which is an ash blond so lighter but more meh than my colored hair). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was running around town like a crazy person but I could not go another day with a ponytail in my hair just because you could see my roots (Jaiks) so I just decided i'd buy one of these boxes in the supermarket while I was doing my groceries. I picked up this box because I have done the ombre look in my hair using the ombre kit from l'oreal and the boxes look a lot alike. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Until I came home and saw this photo on the box at the top...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vqed8Y7oAvk/UlvBv1dIDBI/AAAAAAAAAaU/f_f9KEDhirE/s1600/loreal_preference_7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vqed8Y7oAvk/UlvBv1dIDBI/AAAAAAAAAaU/f_f9KEDhirE/s640/loreal_preference_7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
... Do I need to say more... :D<br />
Anyway, I just thought, it's a 7, I'm a 7, let's just color the hair and move on, so that's what I did.<br />
The box comes with a color shampoo, a developper, an exilir oil which you all have to throw together, and then some gloves and a conditioner which you can use up to 6 times.<br />
I really love the conditioner, it smells great and made my hair feel like silk. The conditioner definitely deserves a 10.<br />
The coloration on the other hand, is not as bad as I would imagine (my experience has always been that you can just not see the color and your actual color shines completely through), however I left this on a little bit longer than 20 minutes, and I have to say, all my roots are covered!<br />
On of the things you have to think of is the amount of product you will actually get. I barely got enough to cover my roots with one box, so if you want to do your whole hair, and you have medium to long hair, definitely buy two or maybe even three boxes. (I'm really not exaggerating here)<br />
The box costs about 10 euros, or 14 to 17 dollars in the stores I have seen the product. But you might find a cheaper version on ebay or in your local supermarket or drugstore.<br />
<br />
Color wise I would say that the color is not very neutral. Even though on the box it says a clear 7 mid blond, it did color my hair a touch lighter than my normal 7 dye plus it did what I absolutely HATE: if you press your roots to your scalp, the hair is just orange. Really nasty. However, because I only used it on my roots, you can't really see the orange that much, only in certain lights.<br />
I'm guessing the orange color is also a reaction on my color underneath. I can imagine if you have blond hair and you want to go a little bit darker this could be a very pretty color on you. But if you have dark brown or black hair and you try this... on your roots, I'm pretty sure it will turn out orange...<br />
<br />
I just colored my hair yesterday, so I'm not really sure about how long the color will last for.<br />
<br />
I think I will go back to the hair dye from the professional hair supply store..<br />
<br />
:)<br />
<br />
Oh, if you follow my blog, you might have noticed I have not yet uploaded my Rihanna makeup tutorial.. I just saw the footage and I HATE the lighting :( It seems like I don't have any makeup on but I had put loads on :s So I'm going to do the exact same look (cause it was so pretty) and use a different background and try to make it work.<br />
I will probably film this tomorrow or any of the following days, so make sure to check that out - if you feel like it :)<br />
<br />
Have a wonderful day!<br />

<br />
<br />
I really love purple lips... You might have seen that in one of the first videos I ever made on youtube explaining how to color your hair :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<object class="BLOGGER-youtube-video" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" data-thumbnail-src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/G2PgVB_4KEM/0.jpg" height="266" width="320"><param name="movie" value="http://youtube.googleapis.com/v/G2PgVB_4KEM&source=uds" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed width="320" height="266" src="http://youtube.googleapis.com/v/G2PgVB_4KEM&source=uds" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></div>
I just bought "Up the amp" in that video, and I remember finding it such a surprising color but sooo pretty on the lips!<br />
<br />
This month, Rihanna came out with a makeup line for Mac Cosmetics, rocking a deep purple lip with a nice eyeliner.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rbvQHdJTjmM/Ulm_pvJ1QwI/AAAAAAAAAZk/YI7_w87jN9M/s1600/RihannaMAC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rbvQHdJTjmM/Ulm_pvJ1QwI/AAAAAAAAAZk/YI7_w87jN9M/s640/RihannaMAC.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I tried to recreate this look but with alternative makeup products, because the line was already sold out when I wanted to buy something... So if you are like me and you missed the line, or you just don't want to spend that extra cash, maybe you will have something in your closet that looks similar, or you could buy some of the makeup I used if you really want a similar color :) But mind that the photo is taken with flash which makes the colors fade out immensely :( I hate when that happens!!!<br />
This is what I came up with :)<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">Hi there :) </div><div style="text-align: center;">I hope you are all well :) I had suuuuper issues with having Internet that's why my blogposts have been a little bit random and not up to date. I have recently also changed jobs (well the city I work in) so I have to commute a lot more which takes up sooo much time!!</div><div style="text-align: center;">I also just went to Paris and I bought some new stuff I will be showing in a blogpost!! I looooove Paris, and I discovered a whole new area that I want to share with you guys! </div><div style="text-align: center;">Until then, I want to share little parts of my life with you from my trip to Malaysia. I hesitated doing this, cause sharing still freaks me out a little bit... I feel like it is personal but at the same time, I really enjoy watching other people's vlogs about their life and trips, so I thought after getting requests to do so, it would be a great idea to edit some of my footage. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Enjoy :) </div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
